First of all I'm not even going to start about how long ago it was that I posted on this blog. (oh, wait, I just did. Oh well). No, I'll just get right on with writing some story about stuff that's going on with me these days.
This Friday me and my girlfriend are going to
VerPakt, a kind of award show that's organized by the
study association of my university where short films made by the students are awarded. Of course I would normally go there anyway, but since one of my
Katanjeman films is nominated for the 'most original' category I am kind of more obliged to make an appearance.
The problem however is the dresscode for this evening. Since they are trying to make this awardshow look more prestigious than it really is they are sort of forcing upon us to come in black tie. What? I have to get or rent a tuxedo or at least wear
some sort of tie? One of the most uncomfortable and useless pieces of clothing ever created for a man? (I secretly think that ties are created by women as some sort of revenge for them wearing high heels).
The rebel in me didn't take long to decide that this was out of the question, and that this whole dresscode thing is a stupid idea. Therefore I am going to buy this
Nintendo shirt tomorrow and wear that with a black jacket. Just my useless little way of saying no to the powers that be.
